On Friday, August 28, Newmark Homes Houston had their first official closing as a new privately held and locally financed builder. The Newton’s home, a Melbourne floor plan in Pine Mill Ranch, is a spectacular open one-story home with many flexibilities. This will be the first of many closings, but there will never be another first.
Olivia, their 3 year old daughter, ran into the house to show “her” room. It was a special moment for the Newton’s and a special day for Newmark Homes Houston.
Mr. Newton had this to say:
“When I initiated the process of buying a home, I had extremely high expectations. Newmark Homes Houston somehow managed to exceed them. I wanted to go with a reputable company and Newmark has been serving the Houston community for many years. I wanted a quality product that looked good, would stand the test of time, and with the economy being a little unsteady at the moment, I wanted to feel like I was getting the best deal for my money. I feel like I achieved all of those things when I signed a purchase agreement with Newmark.
They went above and beyond what was ordinary to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. From the moment I went into the model home center to the instant when my keys were handed over to me, I was impressed with the knowledge, professionalism, and friendliness of their sales staff as well as the attention to detail and quality of work produced by the construction managers in the field who oversaw the actual building process. I hired a private inspector to come out to my home and even he was impressed with how well put together everything was. Whenever I had any questions or concerns, I was always put at ease and I really appreciated that.
The fact that the owner of the company wanted to be personally involved in the first official closing tells me that he not only values and takes pride in his product, but that he also cares about his customers. I’m sure there were countless other things he could’ve been doing on a Friday evening, but he was on site as my wife and I signed our papers and he even met us out at our home more than an hour later as our keys were turned over to us. That spoke volumes to us as to what type of company we had been dealing with for the past several months of our lives. We felt like we had not only gained a new place to live, but also an extended family.
The best part was when we closed the door after everyone had said their goodbyes and my soon to be 3 year old daughter immediately let out an unexpected shriek of happiness, with the biggest smile on her face I’d ever seen, and took off running down the hallway laughing. We were officially home.”
As a Sales Counsellor for Newmark Homes Houston, I am proud of my company and the people who work here. Sales Counsellor Cynthia Allen and Builder Brian Niles are just a sample of the wonderful folks you will encounter in our models, construction and corporate offices. A big thank you to the new owners, Mike Moody, Jeff Dye, and Lonnie Fedrick, for allowing us to be a part of such an amazing team.
Cheers!
